Individual Therapy
As your therapist in individual sessions, I will work with you from a person-centered approach. Together, we can work through the painful emotions and relationship blocks that may be keeping you in distress. Combining Internal Family Systems (FS), attachment theory, and other techniques, I will help you discover, accept, and grow your true Self, and uncover the hidden patterns in your life and personal interactions. We will work to untangle your feelings to make sense of your experience and, ultimately, nurture your growth into the person you want to be.
How I Will Work With You
The relationship between client and therapist is the cornerstone of good individual therapy. In individual sessions, I will work to get to know you, understand your feelings and experience, and help you connect to the internal and external resources that will help you thrive in your life and relationships.
As your therapist, I will provide a safe, confidential space where you can begin to heal old wounds and practice new ways of engaging with yourself, others, and the world around you.
Beginning from a person-centered approach, my work combines elements of several therapies and techniques, including:
-
Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) to foster self-discovery and acceptance of all aspects of yourself, leading to Self-led growth and change
-
Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) to create corrective emotional experiences
-
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge unhelpful thought patterns
-
Narrative Therapy to help you shape your own story, full of new possibilities
-
Psychodynamic Therapy, exploring the depth of your history
